Virex Pro Datasheet
Pure drinking water
The Virex® Pro meets with the strictest requirements of building operators and lawmakers: Seccua’s ultrafiltration system with certified performance in removing pathogens, integrated integrity testing, data recording, and web-based remote access. You maintain control of all components necessary for an efficient and fully automated treatment process.
Virex Pro in brief:
- for building operators
- removes pathogens, parasites, rust staining, bothersome suspended matter, and legionella
- integrated membrane test
Integrated membrane test according to DVGW W213-5
In order to check the high retention performance regularly under operating conditions, the Virex Pro has an integrated membrane test that detects even the smallest membrane damage. When used to protect buildings against intrusion of Legionella from the city water supply, the system checks once a day at a time of your choosing for the life of the filter to make sure that all legionella has been securely removed.
Why you should install the Virex Pro
1. Prevent all legionella for the long term
The Virex Pro is installed directly at your building’s intake from the city line. This prevents pathogens, parasites, and legionella from even getting into your building’s systems. This not only prevents contamination of your pipes, but also keeps them far cleaner.
2. Maximum filtration performance
The Virex Pro now provides higher filtration performance than ever. With its novel modular design, combined with state-of-the-art “Made in Germany” high-performance membranes, the Virex Pro can achieve continuous performance of up to 32 liters per minute and peak performance of up to 1.2 liters per second.
- Continuous performance: up to 32 l/min
- Peak performance: up to 1.2 l/s
3. Integrated membrane test
4. Excellent filtration results
The pathogens and suspended matter removed by the Seccua UltraFilter nanopores far exceeds the requirements of operators and authorities. The Virex Pro has demonstrated complete removal of viruses, bacteria, and parasites in independent tests conducted by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It also removes all suspended matter reliably from the water.

(1) Filtration performance depends on water quality and temperature. Please design carefully before designing a Virex Pro system and consult with Seccua Authorized System Partners for advise if required.
(2) Virus and Bacteria removal of the Ultrafiltration membrane was measured by US EPA against EPA Standards for Ultrafiltration systems used on surface water filtration on a new membrane.
